Razor: Timeless .95
Blade: Astra (2nd use)
Brush: Rich Hansen Custom Handle, 24MM Synthetic Tuxedo Knot
Soap: Wholly Kaw Monaco Royale
Aftershave: Wholly Kaw Monaco Royale
On a continued razor kick with the Timeless since I am leaning towards getting the titanium version as a gift to myself with part of my annual bonus. So far this blade gap seems to work really well for me so I’m going to stick with it. Wholly Kaw’s base is superb in both performance and post. This particular scent is on the lighter side but very pleasant.

Razor: Timeless .95
Blade: Astra (1st use)
Brush: That Darn Rob “Old Cahaba”
Soap: Wickham Soap Co. Club Cola
Aftershave Balm Wickham Soap Co. Club Cola
.95 blade gap delivers with each pass there is noticeable reduction. I have never found this to be too aggressive (although YMMV) especially paired with a smooth blade.

Razor: Feather Artist Club
Blade: Feather Professional (2nd use)
Brush: That Darn Rob “Old Cahaba”
Soap: Lakewood Soap Co. Teakwood
Aftershave Balm: The Stray Whisker After Balm
I am feeling more and more confident with this shavette as time goes on. Taking extra time, keeping the face hydrated and zero dissipation on the lather have been key. Switching up on the usual WTG, XTG and ATG passes that I do with a DE and opting for two WTG passes and a final ATG on the face (now digest all the all acronyms).
The teakwood scent is very enjoyable and I had no qualms about scooping it out and it using liberally-it’s that good.

Razor: RazoRock Mamba
Blade: Feather (1st use)
Brush: West Coast Shaving Beacon Black Synthetic
Soap: Stirling Noir
Aftershave: Stirling Noir
Fragrance: Drakkar Noir
Inaugural use of the Mamba and talk about smooth. The razor glided along and the geometry of the head managed to get under the nose easily. The Feather was a good pairing due to the mildness of the razor.

Razor: Rex Supply Co. Ambassador
Blade: Gillette Silver Blue (1st use)
Brush: Semogue Boar Hair
Soap: D.R. Harris Marlborough
Aftershave: D.R. Harris Marlborough
I love this scent, although the strength or lasting power is lacking. A slight amount of kick with the aftershave and excellent post feel.

Razor: Blackland Razors Blackbird
Blade: Personna Blue (1st use)
Bowl: Jay’s Clay
Brush: Maggard Synthetic 22MM in Bronze
Soap: Lakewood Soap Co. Teakwood
Aftershave: The Stray Whisker After Balm
Being a huge fan of teakwood this really hit the spot on a Sunday (surprisingly warmer than usual) winter morning with ample amount of slickness, glide and smoothness all around. No weepers. Personna Blue blades have worked their way back into my regular rotation of favorite blades due to their comfort level.

Razor: Timeless (.95 Blade Gap)
Blade: Astra (1st use)
Brush: That Darn Rob “Old Cahaba”
Cream: Taylor of Old Bond Street Cedarwood
Aftershave: Chatillon Lux Fourth & Pine
All these products hit it out of the ballpark as always-the efficiency of the Timeless, the smoothness of the Astra, the craftsmanship of That Darn Rob, the ease of lather with TOBS and awesome post with Chatillon Lux.

Razor: Blackland Razors Blackbird (polished, open comb)
Blade: Personna Red (4th use)
Brush: Rich Hansen Custom Handle, 24MM Synthetic Tuxedo Knot
Soap: The Shaving Shop Poivre Rosé
Aftershave: The Shaving Shop Poivre Rosé
This is some of my favorite hardware and software and I always look forward to using any of these products; so much so that I pulled out a mirror after and did a back of neck shave (or attempted one to the best of my dexterity).

Razor: Rockwell 6C (plate 3)
Blade: Personna Red (2nd use)
Brush: $1.99 Boar Brush that was acquired from a local thrift store
Soap: Wickham Soap Co. Club Cola
Aftershave: Wickham Soap Co. Club Cola
This was my first go with Wickham’s balm and talk about amazing. This ranks up there with Soap Commander and Sapone Di Paolo balms in terms of post feel. Plate 3 on the Rockwell seems to be a bit mild for my taste and seemed to be hard to find the proper blade angle (those of you that use this on a more frequent basis feel free to chime in) but all around delivered a smooth shave once I did.

Razor: Wilkinson Sword
Blade: Personna Blue (3rd use)
Brush: Omega Boar Hair
Soap: Omega Eucalipto
Aftershave: Nivea
One of the better scented budget soaps and anyone who is a fan of eucalyptus might enjoy it. The soap provided enough residual slickness and the razor was smooth enough I was able to buff between passes with a decent amount of comfort. The razor is fairly mild with a good amount of weight in the handle.
