Really enjoyable two pass shave (with the grain). My hand is much more steady now than when I first picked up this shavette. It is such a different animal than the double edge razor requiring more focus, whereas the double edge razor you can be a little more cavalier with.

Starting my weekend (having Fridays and Saturdays off) with nice blood pumping workout the items that have been in my dopp kit did not disappoint. Only doing one pass with a touch up a BBS level shave was achieved.

Seeing the bottom of this tub. Although the aftershave doesn’t have the scent strength it once had it remains a favorite. On Wednesday a quick one pass on setting 4.5 was done and on Thursday a two pass (with the grain, against the grain) on settings 3 and 2 was done.

The pairing between this blade and razor has produced smooth results resulting in BBS both days. On the second day with this setup my Jay’s Clay bowl was used which seemed to produce a more dense lather.
